What is an Exclusive Buyer's Agent?
Exclusive Buyer's Agents are different from traditional real estate agents. We represent you, the home buyer exclusively. We never represent Sellers. Since we don't accept listings, we aren't trying to sell you anything. We are purchasing agents working on your behalf. Because we specialize, we have developed a level of expertise in the buying process which gives us an advantage in negotiations and service to our clients.
We listen to you

We research every database of homes for sale including Realtor MLS listings, for-sale-by-owner lists, bank-owned and government-owned home lists. We network with other agents so that we can stay aware of homes which may not actually be on the market yet, but which the Seller intends to put on the market soon. Our goal is to provide you with the widest selection of homes which match your needs.
We negotiate on your behalf
We use our specialized buying skills to accurately determine the value of the home. We then negotiate tenaciously on your behalf. We work diligently to get you the lowest price and best terms on your home.
We recommend inspectors, engineers, appraisers and other professionals whom we know to be thorough and absolutely honest so that we can provide you with complete and accurate information about the home you select. We disclose all information to you about the home and its neighborhood so that you can make a fully informed decision about your purchase. We will never hide any information about the home from you.
Continuing Service
We want to keep in touch with you. We maintain lists of recommended contractors and service providers to help our clients should they have a need.
Our clients regularly call us with recommendations about service people and each year, we send out a questionaire asking for comments about the contractors already on our list. In this way, we are able to keep an updated and current list of service providers our clients have had great service from.
To keep you attuned with the current value of your home, we will provide you with a market position study of your neighborhood annually. We will also offer any help we can should you need to protest property tax increases. If your home appreciates to the extent that we think you may want to consider refinancing techniques, we will call you to suggest ways to save money on your monthly mortgage payments.
